Valldemossa on the island Mallorca

With its 1,500 inhabitants the village Valldemossa lies in the midst of a wonderful landscape. Valldemossa does not look yet on a thousand-year old history back. Because only brick with names with names Wali Musa created here the village. The location selected brick with consideration, because the climate is coolly as at the coast and the fruitful soil with relatively sufficient humidity is suitable here ideally to the agriculture.

Worth seeing:
Valldemossa became famous by the authoress George sand and the composer Frederic Chopin. The pair spent here the winter 1938/1939. Favour did not have it the two, the winter was here coolly and damp and also the native population brought to the two mainlands not the demanded respect. Thus both full Gram left the island in the spring. George sand did not write the book "one winter on Mallorca" in that it a good hair Mallorca and particularly Valldemossa left then later. Since 1981 now annually the Chopin Festival takes place in Valldemossa. Into August Sundays nights take place concerts, on which works are played by Frederic Chopin.
Recommendable the museum for contemporary art and the old monastery pharmacy is also absolute.
