Santa Maria del Camí on the Majorca island

The origin of this area can be traced back up to the Moors. The municipality has 5.200 inhabitants. The municipality has their name of a chapel in „La Garriga in Catalonia”. It mainly lives from the trade with concrete goods and from the building with wine. Formerly „Santa Maria del Camí” set off itself a name in the textile branch. Today only still few work in this department.
