Escorca in the north of Majorca

The nevertheless rather small number of inhabitants approx. in 300 offers them a few nice sights. The presumably most famous is the black Madonna without doubts. When thanks to that then the Templer helped 1229 during the conquest of Majorca got they a great number of considerable states and not at last in Escorca and in addition in Montuïri and Pollença. In the same way they can make numerous mountain tour from here.

Nostra Senyora de Lluc
In honor of the black Madonna a chapel was constructed here. The small Madonna became from a small boy Lukas (mallorqui: Lluc) discovers. Exactly at the place where this small boy was constructed they discovered the chapel.

Museum de Lluc
A museum with finds from the caves in the field Escorca, ceramics, drawings, painting and so forth.

Fool pension de Pareis
To one of the known canyons in the whole room Mediterranean Sea.

Beaches and Baden in Escorca
„Cala Tuent” is a bathing-bay in the north-west. The small beach has a length of 180 meters. The bay has a very good water quality.
