Costitx in middle Majorca

In the municipality approx. 1000 inhabitants live. The masculine inhabitants mention themselves „Costitxer” and the feminine „Costitxera”. Costitx became famous through the numerous and significant archaeological finds. These finds infer that the area had been settled already in the Talayot-culture. The talayotischen bull heads are regarded as a most significant find of bronze „Caps de Bou de Costitx”.
