Campanet north of Majorca

The small town Campanet counts 2.200 inhabitants. In the year 1300 Campanet belonged too Sa Pobla so decided king Jaume II. In 1368 the two municipalities broke away again from Pere on consent. The most beautiful limestone caves of whole Majorca are the presumably biggest attraction. In 1945 the „Coves de Campanet” were discovered.

A big limestone cave with numerous stalactites and underground lakes. Daily ones opened from 10 -19 o'clock, in the winter until 18 o'clock.
